Sisters-R-Doing-It Boxing – For Women by Women
This new and exciting SRDI 10-week beginners programme is for woman and girls aged 12+ who want to learn the fundamentals of boxing. Boxing is known to help build confidence, whilst teaching you a great form of self-defence and is the ultimate full body workout, benefiting from fat burning, increased muscle tone, increased cardiovascular fitness, endurance, core stability, increased strength and power. It is also great for stress relieving and can provide numerous other mental health benefits.
The programme will teach you the techniques you need to box and enable you to go from being a complete beginner to having the confidence to spar with others by the end of the 10-weeks.
The venue is Billingham boxing club which is a fun, friendly and social environment where you can enjoy learning the fundamentals of boxing whilst benefiting from specialist equipment and coaching. You will be guided by a qualified female coach in the all-female sessions and will come away from the programme not only with the ability to box but a whole new group of friends who have collectively been with you every step of the way on your boxing journey. Don’t have any boxing gloves? do worry you can either use ours or you can purchase your own personal pair when you book onto the programme.
